Our dojo (training hall) is honoured to be an official dojo of the Yokohama International Aikido Association, under the guidance of Atsushi Mimuro Shihan, 7th Dan Aikikai. Through this connection, we uphold the spirit and standards of traditional Aikido while sharing them with our local community. Aikikai Headquarters Hombu Dojo
Yokohama International Aikido Devon offers a truly authentic Aikido experience, led by a certified instructor recognised by the Aikikai Foundation Aikido World Headquarters (Hombu Dojo) in Japan. This direct connection to the birthplace of Aikido — and to the legacy of the Ueshiba family — ensures our teachings remain faithful to the art’s original spirit.
Here, students explore not only the precise techniques of Aikido, but also its mental and spiritual principles — the harmony, respect, and compassion that define the practice.
